Established in 2013, the Yoma Yangon International Marathon (YYIM) has grown into Myanmar’s largest participatory running event and one of the country’s most recognised sporting occasions, bringing together runners, supporters, volunteers, corporate partners, and the wider community.
Following nine successful editions, including the 2026 race, which welcomed more than 7,000 participants, YYIM continues to inspire athletes and connect communities across Myanmar through a shared passion for running. Guided by Yoma Group’s mission to “Build a Better Myanmar for its People,” the marathon remains committed to promoting health, unity, and meaningful community impact.
Looking ahead to the 2027 edition, YYIM aims to deliver an even greater celebration of endurance, community spirit, and unforgettable race-day experiences in the heart of Yangon.
