The Yoma Mandalay International Marathon (YMIM) made history in 2026 as the first international marathon event in Mandalay, bringing runners from Myanmar and beyond together to experience the city through a shared passion for running and community.
Held under the theme “For the Community,” YMIM reflects Yoma Group’s mission to “Build A Better Myanmar for its People.” Beyond the race itself, the event is committed to supporting underprivileged communities and contributing to meaningful charity initiatives across Myanmar.
We welcome donations from participants and the public to support communities in need and help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Yoma Mandalay International Marathon 2026 Overview
The Yoma Yangon International Marathon (“YYIM”), established in 2013, has grown into Myanmar’s largest participatory running event and one of the most recognised sporting occasions, bringing together runners, supporters, volunteers, corporates, and the wider community.
After eight successful editions in Yangon up to 2020, the event now expands to Mandalay, reaching beyond Yangon to inspire athletes and connect communities across Myanmar through a shared passion for running.
