Shaping the Future, Nurturing the Younger Generation
Yoma Yangon international Marathon (YYIM) has grown tremendously over the years from the first edition in 2013 with just around 1000 runners, evolving into the largest mass participation running event in Yangon with over 8000 runners in 2017!
It’s hardly surprising that YYIM has become one of the city’s most recognised and anticipated annual sporting event for both local and international runners, with its scenic route and great food and fun entertainments. Not forgetting our key initiative – ‘Run for Children’ which raises funds to improve the welfare of children, e.g. providing education for the less privilege.
Moving on to our 6th edition in 2018, we hope to further increase the registration number to 10,000 participants as we believe this event present a great opportunity to gather the Yangon community together in a joint effort to give back to the community. We welcome donations from all participants and public to support the youth and truly make a difference in their lives.
For interested runners, you can donate when you register for the race. Click here to register!
